Kimberstone was started by accident. My daughter’s first birthday was coming up and I wanted to make it special. I figured I’d make her cakes myself. I needed two; one for her “smash cake” and the other for our guests. Here are the two birthday cakes below.

These two birthday cakes were my first attempt at making cakes. As to much of a surprise to myself, I additionally received praise for the birthday cakes. After my daughter’s birthday I started to receive several requests to make birthday, baby shower and other cakes for people.

And that’s how Kimberstone Bakery started!
